Coffee House Featuring Metro Food Rescue and Detroit Crime Commission
Detroit’s Comeback Story – The Other Half Speaks
This is a great opportunity to get an inside scoop on some of the most recognized and impactful nonprofits in Detroit.
This month we will feature Chad Techner, Founder and CEO of Metro Food Rescue, and Andy Arena, Executive Director of Detroit Crime Commission. At Metro Food Rescue, they rescue food that would otherwise be discarded and deliver it to a network of food pantries throughout Metro Detroit thereby helping to feed individuals and families in need.
Founded in 2011, the Detroit Crime Commission is an independent, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that works collaboratively with residents and community leaders to create safe communities for all citizens.
